"If I could sell my own house, anyone can. You tell people all they have to do is follow your 8 Steps System and they will succeed. Simply put, you were right.
With the children grown, we felt it was time to make a move. We wanted something easier to keep up. The real estate taxes had gone up every year for 35 years and it was all we could do to pay them. We always wanted to travel and frankly the taxes and up keep were getting to be too much.
We called a few real estate companies and their agents were nice and some even made a few suggestions, but the 6% commission looked bigger and bigger, while we felt the ones with low commissions wouldn't spend enough time on our small house.
